RBI Grade B Selection Process

RBI Grade B Selection Process 2025

The Stage 1 of RBI Grade B Exam 2025 contains 4 subjects including Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English. There will be a total 200 questions carrying 200 marks for the duration of 120 minutes with sectional timing. 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

The Stage 2 of RBI Grade B Exam 2025 is divided into three papers, Paper 1 and Paper 3 are a combination of descriptive and objective papers whereas Paper 2 is entirely descriptive. 

The Stage 3 of RBI Grade B Exam 2025 is the final stage of RBI Grade B Selection Process 2025. This stage is graded with 75 marks and considered for the Final Merit List. Candidates are evaluated on communication skills, personality and suitability for the role.

RBI Grade B Prelims Exam Pattern 2025 for DR (General)

The RBI Grade B Prelims Exam Pattern 2025 for DR (General) is conducted online in four sections and carries 200 marks for the duration of 120 minutes with sectional time. Each section will be allocated to a specific time limit which will be mentioned in the admit card. Candidates must score minimum marks in each section and overall aggregate score. There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks as negative marking.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern for DR (General)

The RBI Grade B Phase 2 Mains Exam of 300 marks consisting of three papers, Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III. Candidates may appear for all shifts of the Mains exams for all 3 papers. Separate Call Letters will be issued for each shift, including the date exam and details. Only the applicants who qualify the Phase I and meet the cut off set by the Board will be eligible to appear in the Phase II exam.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2025 for DEPR

RBI Grade B Selection Process 2025 for DEPR involves a written exam which will be conducted online and an Interview. RBI Grade B Exam 2025 consists of three papers. Paper I is of Objective Type and covers Economics-related topics. Paper II and III are of descriptive type. Candidates who score the minimum required marks in Paper I will qualify for Paper II based on their Paper I marks. The final selection is based on the performance in all three papers (Paper I, II, and III) and the interview, which carries 75 marks.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern for DSIM

Candidates will be selected via online written test and interview for the DSIM department. The RBI Grade B Exam 2025 consists of three papers. Paper I is of Objective Type and covers Statistics-related topics. Paper II and III are of descriptive type. Candidates who score the minimum required marks in Paper I will appear for Paper II/ Paper III based on their Paper I marks. The final selection will be based on the performance in all three papers (Paper I, II, and III) and the interview, which carries 75 marks.

RBI Grade B Interview 2025

The final stage for selection after prelims and mains exam is the RBI Grade B Interview 2025 through which the final merit list will be prepared. This stage carries 75 marks and applicants will be shortlisted based on their aggregate marks in Phase II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III). The RBI Grade B Cut Off will depend on the vacancies released during the official notification release. Roll numbers of shortlisted candidates will be published on the RBI website, and interview call letters will be sent via email. Candidates can choose to give the interview in either Hindi or English.

RBI Grade B Document Verification 2025

• Candidates must download theInterview Call Letter from the official RBI website as it is and essential document to enter the interview venue.
• The Bio-Data form must be filled by the candidates in the format provided on RBI’s website. Bring a printed and properly filled version with you.
• Carry a printed copy of the RBI Grade B Application Form 2025 that you submitted while applying for the exam.
• Carry any one of these original IDs along with a photocopy:
  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Voter ID
  • Passport
  • Driving License
• Bring both the original and a copy of Birth Certificate or Class 10 Marksheet/Certificate as a date of birth proof.
• Submit originals and photocopies of all academic records including Class 10 and 12 Marksheet/Certificates, Graduation Marksheets (all semesters/years) and Degree Certificate, Post-Graduation Documents (if applicable)
• Candidates must carry their Category Certificate (if applicable) in original and self-attested category form. OBC applicants must ensure their certificate is in the correct format and states their non-creamy layer status.
• Original and photocopy of the disability certificate issued by a recognized authority.
• Carry original and photocopies of experience certificates for each job role claimed in the application if applicable.
• If currently working in a government or PSU organization, carry a valid NOC from the employer.
• Carry 2–3 recent color photographs, preferably the same as uploaded in the candidate’s application form.
• Bring relevant documents if the candidate is claiming age relaxation under any category.
