Chief Ministers of Sikkim

The Chief Minister of Sikkim is the head of the state government, who is appointed by the governor entitled to the position for a tenure of 5 years. The Current Chief Minister of Bihar is Prem Singh Tamang, serving since 27 May 2019, better known as P.S. Golay, from Sikkim Krantikari Morcha, who founded this party in the year 2019. The State of Sikkim officially became the 22nd state of India on 16 May 1975, following the merger of the former Kingdom of Sikkim with India. Before this, Sikkim was a monarchy under the Chogyal dynasty.

Current Chief Minister of Sikkim

Prem Singh Tamang, widely known as P.S Golay, has been serving as the Current Chief Minister of Sikkim since May 28, 2019, representing the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party. He was also the First Prime Minister of Sikkim from 1974 to 1975. He founded the Sikkim National Congress, which was instrumental in the movement for Sikkim’s merger with India.
